Medical Imaging at Arizona Centre Plastic Surgery
The use of a computer image allows the patient to anticipate what sort of changes can be expected with surgery. This technique is particularly useful for changes that are best seen on a side view such as a nose revision with removal of a hump, removal of fat from underneath the chin, enhanced chin projection with a chin implant, or decrease in volume of the abdomen as visualized from the side. A photograph is either taken with a digital camera and then artistically manipulated to give anticipated changes or a video image is captured and altered to create the anticipated changes.

||Patient image after manipulation. Note the smoother skin and reduced wrinkles.
Be aware that image manipulation only provides an approximate estimate of the results which can be achieved. It is not a guarantee of results.
